HAVE YOU SEEN THIS PERSON OR JEEP
Just wanted to let you know I stopped an individual from breaking into my husband's
car at 6** Overlook. At 3:00 a.m. a white male with dark hair got out of a black
Cherokee Jeep in front of 6** Overlook. I got out of bed to watch him because I thought
that was odd. He went up to my husband's car with a flashlight and was looking through
the windows. I yelled at him and he ran up to around 7** Overlook and jumped into
the jeep where the driver was waiting. I don't if the driver was up at that end looking
into cars as well. Police were called and asked to drive around and look for them. Keep
your eyes and ears open for these guys.
** = Last 2 digits of address is left out for privacy and safety.
If you have information RE the person or the Black Jeep Cherokee please contact Dist. 3 Police station at 263-8300.

Daytime Burglaries
We have been able to identify a suspect in at least one of our day-time burglaries. We had a day-time burglary in Miami Trails on 7/17/08 at around 1100 hours. The suspect stole a credit card from the residence and proceeded to the Marathon on BHGP @ Loveland-Maderia Road. The vehicle was a bright red Ford Mustang with a black convertible top. The Mustang was the newest body style probably a 2007 or 2008. The vehicle was driven by a white female, medium build, with long dark hair (hair hung to the middle of her back). The female had a tattoo on her right shoulder/bicep and she was wearing a white tank top, shorts, and flip-flops. The clerk advised there was a male sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle. We also have a statement from a neighbor advising she saw the suspect vehicle in a driveway behind the victim’s home. I will get pictures from the video out as soon as I can (were having software issues with the DVD). Please BOLO for this vehicle and find a reason for a stop and get a good FIR. We have four open day-time burglaries in Miami and neighboring jurisdictions have numerous open cases to. Any questions, please let me know. You guys have been great finding us suspects in recent crimes, please find me another person to start with.

ASSAULT ON JAMESTOWN
I received this in a email on Sunday the 20th.
Ann, I am sending this to you so you can get the info out to others. Last night (Saturday) my brother and his wife were badly assaulted walking back home from the Giles benefit at St. William at about 12:30
or 1:00, right on Jamestown in front on Chief Striker's old residence. The only description was 2 Blond females with two black males, this was totally unprovoked and the attack came from behind. Please keep your eyes and ears open to anyone possibly bragging about this because it sounds like some sort of kick or gang initiation these punks might have been in to. Please everyone take precautions when walking at night and try to move around with more than just 2 people.
Anybody with any information RE this assault please contact District 3 at 263-8300.
You can also email me
I WILL NOT GIVE OUT THE PERSONS INFORMATION THAT CONTACTS ME.

Price Hill Rocks Meeting Notes
Dear All,
I think it is safe to say that those who attended last night's meeting and tour had a great time! It was good to get the chance to see the gardens and back spaces of some great homes in the area. The style of garden reflected the owners and the variety was incredible. Thank you to all who attended and all who allowed us to visit your gardens.
Meeting minutes: We are still pursuing the garbage cans for the area through the grants. We have the cost ($600 each) but the city needs to OK the placement, etc. We are working through Keep Cincinnati Beautiful to accomplish this. It seems like any big agency, the city is slow in answering calls, etc. Chris Monzel's office is trying to help.
A question for the residents of Schiff and Rutledge: Do you see lighting as a problem in your area, i.e., lack of lighting has encouraged crime? We may also qualify for a Safe and Clean grant for lighting that would be placed on houses but aimed at the sidewalks and street. We can get motion detector light adapters for simple flood lights for about $30 each. We can also get porch lights with built in motion detectors for about $80 each. We can have a lighting survey done by the Duke and the city to help. Would this be something you would be interested in? Please let me know. We can still get porch or other lights for houses through the Building Blocks grant also.
District 3 has a monthly meeting with block captains. If you have a troublesome house, recurring problem, curfew offenders on your street, let me know the address or area and information and I will pass it on to the police.

East Price Hill
I have a created a Video Page. News Clips and other clips I add to the site will end up there. They will stay there till the day the clip is no longer valid. At that point I will remove it from the site. If you have videos that you would like to add. They must be about Price Hill. This is not for your family picnic video. But if you caught something that was going on in Price Hill. Then let me know about it. If you do not have it uploaded to the internet. You can do so for free at You Tube.

Neighborhood Crime Tracker From
Vandals with spray cans caused damage to homes in East Price Hill. They struck along Glenway Avenue, near Wing Road. This morning, police were called to the neighborhood, just west of Cincinnati Christian University. They found markings spray painted on three different doors. Investigators check to make sure the signs are not tied to gang activity.

Site Updates:
Hello everyone and sorry I have not updated the site in some time. I will get back on a regular schedule on site updates. I am looking to make some changes to the site. I will also be adding a few things to the site also. Like the following:
A Yard Sale Section
Lost Pets Section
A Phone Line that should be up by the middle to end of June. This will allow people to leave information for the site.
Please remember everyone loves this site and thinks this site is a Great Thing. But I need input from the people of Price Hill. If you think that a Yard Sale section or a Lost Pets section takes away from the main idea of the site it doesn't. And maybe a police officer will look at this and give that area some extra attention by if possible.

Keep an Eye on your license plate
A woman said her son found his license plate missing so he called the police to file a report. They told him people were stealing the plates to get free gas. Given the rise in gas prices, people have taken to stealing license plates, putting them on their car, then getting gas and running. The gas station will have 'your' license plate # and you could be in trouble for 'pump and run.' Check your car periodically to be
sure you still have a plate. If you should find it missing, file a report immediately!!! Keep an eye on your license plate! Make sure you always know it's there! When the license plate is reported as the
drive off vehicle,' it's YOU they contact! Be aware!!!! Be aware of your license plates, most of us never look to see if the plates arethere or not.

Disclaimer
Hello and thank you for visiting my site. My name is
Doyle and I'm a PROUD Price Hill resident. I have lived here all my
life. I am raising 2 beautiful children with my wife of 16 years. It
saddens me to see the things that are happening to our neighborhood.
I got an idea of creating a website for everyone to come to. I would
update the site and try to set it up so people can add things to it.
I look at this site as another fighting tool. Now please keep this
in mind.
Nobody but myself is in
charge of this site. This site is not linked to any Block Watch
Group or any other type of group. Any question regarding this
site should be sent to me. The reason for this site is to give
everyone another way to communicate with each other.
I had a person say to me that I was
telling about the site. "If we put information on there wont that
help the criminals". I told them not all information would be put on
the site. But things that are happening in our neighborhood everyone
needs to know about it. And maybe everyone cant come to a block
watch groups meetings. This would be another way for them to stay
informed. Lets say that the criminals does come to the site, even
better. They will know that the people in these area as their eyes
on them.
