West 8th Market

Kroger has closed their store in Price Hill But not to worry. There is still another grocery store in Price Hill. The West 8th Market located on West 8th Street.

Message from the owner of the West 8th Market.

We are your local grocery store. Serving the Price Hill community for over 30 years. Located at the corner of West 8th & Trenton Ave. We offer A Full Service Deli and Meat Dept. Fresh Produce, Daily and Frozen Foods. we have all the Ohio Lottery Games Plus Instant Tickets. Money Orders available also. Phone # 513-471-6299

The owner has done what ever he needed to do to keep this place open. He has even went into his own pocket to keep the store open. He has not given up on the community. Lets don't give up on him. He is located next to the drive thru & the Gas Station. So instead of going to Delhi or Western Hill to get your food or lottery tickets. Stop in and see him. You can get your gas at the Marathon. Then go next door to the West 8th market.

Thanks again for checking out the site

 Message from Doyle

Hello everyone and thanks for checking out this site. This site has gone over way better then I could of ever hoped for. This site went live on March 17th 2008 and as of the time I added this note. The site has had 383 hits. That alone says that we need this. But I have only received 1 comment regarding what people thinks about the site. I had a poll on the site. Only 8 votes was cast on the poll. Below you will see the 8 votes.

How do you rate this site? Vote 1 threw 10

1 2 (25%)
2 1 (12%)
3 0 (0%)
4 1 (12%)
5 0 (0%)
6 1 (12%)
7 0 (0%)
8 1 (12%)
9 1 (12%)
10 1 (12%)
8 Total votes

It was set up so people could leave me a comment about the site when they placed a vote. Only 1 person did. I want to set up this site so it will serve the public. But if there is something you are having trouble with, Something that makes it hard to use the site. Please let me know. You can send me an email. If I have a fix to the problem & I can do it. I will look into it.

Thanks

Doyle

Disclaimer

Hello and thank you for visiting my site. My name is Doyle and I'm a PROUD Price Hill resident. I have lived here all my live. I am raising 2 beautiful children with my wife of 16 years. It saddens me to see the things that are happening to our neighborhood. I got an idea of creating a website for everyone to come to. I would update the site and try to set it up so people can add things to it. I look at this site as another fighting tool. Now please keep this in mind.

  • Nobody but myself is in charge of this site. This site is not linked to any Block Watch Group or any other type of group. Any question regarding this site should be sent to me. The reason for this site is to give everyone another way to communicate with each other.

I had a person say to me that I was telling about the site. "If we put information on there wont that help the criminals". I told them not all information would be put on the site. But things that are happening in our neighborhood everyone needs to know about it. And maybe everyone cant come to a block watch groups meetings. This would be another way for them to stay informed. Lets say that the criminals does come to the site, even better. They will know that the people in these area as their eyes on them.
